Montana Panoramic

1

I had the pleasure of meeting with Craig Hergert of Montana Panoramic last week. Craig is a very talented panoramic photographer who has donated his panoramic printing services to OPR. Located in Bozeman, MT, Craig has been capturing the beauty of Montana for over 10 years, with his photos being displayed in art galleries and private collections around the world.

Craig started his career shooting film and scanning the images into a very early version of Photoshop. Today, Craig is shooting with a digital Canon camera, using Photoshop CS3 and a Wacom tablet, and prints his panoramic photos on an Epson 9800. Over the past 10 years, he has captured the vast landscapes, mountain ranges, rivers, parks, towns, wildlife, hunting and fishing from all over the great state of Montana. In 2008, he published his first book Montana Panoramic, showcasing his 10 years of photography. It is a beautiful book and makes a great gift for anyone who enjoys photography. You can purchase the book from Craig’s website, as well as view his gallery of photos, at www.MontanaPanoramic.com.

Craig is currently in the process of expanding his gallery and setting up a new studio. He eventually plans to expand his business to provide panoramic printing services to other photographers. In the meantime, Craig has generously donated his time and materials in printing several panoramic photos for OPR, which to date, have all been military photos. His generosity to OPR is greatly appreciated, and on behalf of OPR, I would like to extend a very heartfelt thank you to Craig!
